Church Volunteers Plan Good Deeds
There is a conspiracy brewing in the Conejo Valley.
Pastors and volunteers will assemble Saturday morning at Calvary Community Church, 31293 Via Colinas, before setting off to do good deeds across Thousand Oaks and Westlake Village as part of a “conspiracy of kindness.”
Starting about 9:45 a.m., church volunteers will wash windows at the Oak Forest Mobile Home Estates, at Lindero Canyon and Triunfo Canyon roads. Others will rake leaves and give away smoke alarm batteries near Avenida de los Arboles and Avenida de las Plantas.
Volunteers will also wash cars for free at the Chevron station at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Moorpark Road and give away books at Lassen’s Health Foods at 2857 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd. until 1 p.m.
