In the Bruins’ last chance to build some momentum going into next week’s Pacific 10 Conference opener, they face a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference team that is in the middle of a long road stint. Morgan State, which lost at Georgetown, 92-64, on Dec. 21, last played a home game on Dec. 7, and won’t play at home again until Jan. 18. UCLA came back from its first trip of the season--a loss to Illinois and a victory at St. Louis--with a familiar theme: The Bruins win when they hold turnovers below 20. On the trip, junior guard Toby Bailey played all but one minute of the two games, and amassed these combined numbers: 31 points, 14 rebounds, nine assists and five steals.
