Hagman Helps CSUN Shoot Down Air Force

Sarah Hagman came off the bench to score 14 points in 27 minutes for the Cal State Northridge women’s basketball team in a 56-41 victory over Air Force on Saturday at Northridge.
The Matadors (2-8) forced 27 turnovers and held the Falcons’ starters to 29 points.
Air Force (3-6) was led by center Carrie Carrow’s 12 points, 10 rebounds and five blocked shots.
Forward Shelley Crockam led Northridge in rebounding with nine, and scored seven points.
In other women’s games:
Valley 67, Pasadena 56--The Monarchs (9-6) led by as many as 17 points in a Fullerton tournament consolation game.
Shawanda Hotchkiss had 21 points and 10 rebounds and Lashonda Holland had nine points and six blocked shots for Valley. Pasadena is 7-5.
Ventura 68, Wisconsin Madison Tech 47--Amirah Leonard had 33 points and six steals for the Pirates (14-1) in the semifinals of the Glendale tournament.
Leonard scored 26 points in the second half and hit five three-pointers.
