2 Suspects Sought in Armed Robbery

EL RIO — Ventura County sheriff’s deputies are looking for two men who robbed an El Rio liquor store of an undisclosed amount of cash Sunday and then fled in a red Ford minivan shortly after 11 a.m.
The two men, both described as Latino, about 5 feet, 7 inches tall and 150 pounds, wearing dark clothing and navy blue beanies, used a small pistol to rob a clerk at Country Corner Liquor, 4708 Vineyard Ave.
The robbers were last seen heading north on Vineyard Avenue in the Ford Aerostar, which has gray primer on its doors. Authorities said the van’s license plate number was either 3X64710 or 3Y64710.
