Fresno State Beats 49ers With Two-Run Ninth

Casey Martin hit a home run in the top of the ninth to give Long Beach State the lead but host Fresno State rallied for two runs in the bottom of the inning for a 7-6 victory in a nonleague baseball game Sunday.
Darren Dyt singled with the bases loaded and no one out to break a 6-6 tie. Iran Barrera, who had the save the night before, gave up four singles and made an error in the ninth to take the loss.
Keith Colwey had a two-run home run and a triple and Izzy Gonzalez had a two-run homer for Long Beach (1-2).
