Bad Memory: Not only did Friday’s shootout at a North Hollywood bank boost video rentals of the police thriller “Heat,” it also triggered memories for LAPD Sgt. Jeri Weinstein. She had a bit part in the film that featured well-armed thugs battling police. . . . “I thought there were a lot of similarities,” Weinstein said. “We were totally out-powered by their weapons.”
Blacked Out: Sure, the Harvard-Westlake High basketball team will play its Southern Section Division III-A title game before television cameras.
