Clipper update--They’ve lost two in a row after winning four consecutive games. The Houston Rockets ended the Clippers’ seven-game home winning streak Tuesday night at the Sports Arena, 113-109. Guard Darrick Martin had 23 points, including 13 in the first quarter.
Magic update--They’ve won seven of eight games since Coach Richie Adubato replaced Brian Hill on Feb. 18, including Tuesday night’s victory at Seattle, 101-89. Guard Penny Hardaway, who missed all six of his shots in the first half against the SuperSonics, had 26 points in the second half, making four three-point shots. Rony Seikaly had 18 points against the SuperSonics. The Magic has won five in a row over the Clippers.
