Burbank’s Retired Senior Volunteer Program needs volunteers 55 and older to staff the counter at the city’s Public Service Department conservation section, which promotes water conservation. The office’s address is 164 W. Magnolia Blvd. Volunteers should be able to deal with the public in a friendly and professional manner. Call (818) 238-5370.
* The Glendale Meals on Wheels program needs volunteer drivers/helpers to deliver meals to homebound individuals in the Glendale/La Crescenta area. Delivery is from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday. One day a week would be ideal, but once a month would be helpful. Call Scott Duncan at (818) 246-5586, Ext. 32.
* The Autry Museum of Western Heritage, 4700 Western Heritage Way, Los Angeles, needs volunteer tour guides and gallery guides. Volunteers are trained in classes where they meet curators and learn about the museum’s artifacts. Volunteers are also needed in visitor services, the museum store and other museum departments. Call (213) 667-2000.
