Elderly Woman Dies in House Fire

An elderly woman died in a house fire Tuesday in Arcadia, authorities said.
Mary Groth was rushed out of her burning home by firefighters and brought to Arcadia Methodist Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but the damage indicates electrical problems, said Beth Stogner, a spokeswoman for the Arcadia Fire Department.
