Clipper update--Coming off back-to-back victories at Orlando and Boston, the Clippers end a seven-game, 12-day trip today. Forward Lamond Murray had a season-high 24 points in Friday night’s 15-point victory at Boston. The Clippers have a four-game lead over the Sacramento Kings for the eighth and final Western Conference playoff berth with eight games left. The Clippers played one of their worst games of the season in a 106-95 overtime loss to the Nets on Nov. 30 at Anaheim.
Net update--They seem to have quit for the season, losing three consecutive games, including a 93-87 loss to Charlotte on Thursday night. They are 7-15 since their big trade with Dallas on Feb. 17.
