Riverside County coroner’s deputies have identified two people whose bodies were found near the wreckage of a plane that crashed along the Orange-Riverside County line as two Orange County residents.
The victims were identified as Pablo Molo, 63, of Costa Mesa and Mildred Elizabeth Vail, 56, of Laguna Niguel.
It was unclear when their Cessna 210 crashed, but investigators said the accident appeared to have happened about two days before searchers found the plane on Friday. The plane apparently struck the side of Sierra Peak and bounced several times before coming to rest. Both victims died after being ejected from the single-engine plane.
Information about the flight plan was unavailable.
