LAGUNA HILLS — Three robbers armed with a machine gun burst into an apartment Sunday afternoon, robbing the four occupants of cash and other items, authorities said.
No one was injured, but the robbers escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash and other items, said Lt. Charles Walters of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
The robbery occurred about 2:15 p.m. when the intruders entered the apartment in the 24400 block of Los Alisos Boulevard and announced a holdup. The men carried what appeared to be an Uzi machine gun, the lieutenant said.
After gathering up the cash and other items, the robbers escaped in a beige Buick station wagon, Walters said.
The names of the victims were not available.
