Program Praised: Consolidating various homeless services under one roof, more than 30 public and private organizations have opened a “one-stop” shop for social services in Glendale. The Glendale Homeless Coalition held an open house Thursday at the Glendale Services Center, which also houses the city’s first year-round homeless shelter. A Department of Housing and Urban Development official said the Glendale effort could serve as “a model for the nation.”
