Company Posts Record Net Income

NEWPORT BEACH — Data Processing Resources Corp., a provider of information technology staffing services, reported record net income of $1.9 million, or 18 cents a share, for the third fiscal quarter ended April 30, more than double the $823,000, or 13 cents a share, posted for the like period last year. Revenue rose to $31.4 million from $14.8 million. The current year’s figures include a full quarter of results from two acquisitions.

Net income for the nine months increased to $4.4 million, or 50 cents a share, from $2.1 million, or 38 cents a share, for the same period last year. Revenue advanced 79%, to $75.3 million from $42 million.
