In a Division V semifinal:
Brethren Christian 10, Temecula Linfield 6--Jonathan Rouwenhorst hit a three-run homer and Brent Hayzlett added a two-run homer in the second for Brethren Christian (22-7).
Brethren Christian will play Santa Maria St. Joseph’s in the regional championship on Friday at Blair Field in Long Beach.
Erik Jensen held Linfield to four hits, striking out nine, walking four and surviving four Brethren Christian errors for his fifth win.
Aaron Ireland hit his 13th and 14th home runs of the season for Brethren Christian, both with the bases empty. Rouwenhorst finished with three hits, including a double and the three-run homer.
