Gas Prices
We have just returned from a vacation on the East Coast and visited Washington, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware and Pennsylvania. All of the Californians in our group were amazed to see that 87 octane gasoline was $1.15 to $1.19 per gallon throughout all of these states. Right now it is $1.27 in our area and in the San Francisco area it is $1.50. Our cab driver in Philadelphia said that he had just returned from Georgia and it was less than a dollar there.
On the news the other night they said they plan to raise gasoline in California at least 10 cents per gallon. Does someone out there have something against us here in California or can someone please tell us why it is so much more costly here? We didn’t see a refinery on the East Coast.
