Politicians Can Say Adios to Contribution
- Share via
Mr. Robert A. Rosenblatt’s quite disturbing article “Corporate Welfare Just Robin Hood in Reverse” (View From Washington, June 1) should not astound us, inured as we have become to graft, fraud, payoffs, bribes and politicians’ dishonesty in general.
Sixty-five billion dollars a year, give or take a few measly millions! One shudders in disgust at the partial list of “needy” corporate giants benefiting from such largess.
As for this lady, I rue every small check I have ever sent to a politician I was fool enough to have faith in, and I will never, ever mark the IRS tax form with a “yes” for contributions.
