Reno Calls Off Visit to City Next Week

A last-minute change of plans has forced U.S. Atty. Gen. Janet Reno to cancel a visit next week, officials said Tuesday.
Mayor Miguel A. Pulido Jr. had announced plans for Reno’s visit during Monday’s City Council meeting.
Reno had been scheduled to make the public appearance next Monday. City officials said they hoped to reschedule the visit but did not have any future dates.
