8 From Greenpeace Arrested in Protest

Eight Greenpeace activists were arrested in Seattle after dangling 75 feet from a bridge for two days to stop factory trawlers from taking to sea and fishing off Alaska, where the protesters said they would harm sea life. Police took five women and three men into custody. They will be charged with reckless endangerment of others. The charge carries a maximum fine of $5,000 and one year in prison.
