Cypress Easily Beats Oxnard at Tournament

Cypress took a commanding lead in the first half and sustained it throughout the second as the Chargers defeated Oxnard, 83-69, in first-round play Thursday at the Santa Barbara men’s basketball tournament.
A.D. Lamoureux, who had 11 rebounds, had 24 points to lead Cypress.
In the Riverside Tournament:
Mt. San Jacinto 91, Irvine Valley 81--Damian Raibon scored 18 points and had five assists in Irvine Valley’s loss to Mt. San Jacinto in the quarterfinals of the Riverside Tournament at Riverside College.
Palomar 101, Golden West 75--Mark Perry scored 17 points and grabbed five rebounds for Golden West in the loss to Palomar.
