2 From Leisure World File for Council Seat

Incumbent City Councilman Harry Fulton and former councilman William Doane, who resigned his seat last year in his second term, have filed candidacy papers for the March election to represent Leisure World.
The two Leisure World residents are the first to file for the election, in which at least three council seats will appear on the ballot. Mayor Marilyn Bruce Hastings, who represents Old Town, and Councilwoman Gwen Forsythe, who represents Marina Hill, will vacate their seats because of term limits, and Fulton’s Leisure World seat is up for grabs.
Additionally, City Councilwoman Patty Campbell, who represents College Park East, faces recall over her decision involving proposed Bixby Ranch development. Longtime College Park East resident Arden “Ace” Yeam announced his intention to run for her seat should the recall succeed.
