Woman Dies After Being Struck by Car

FOUNTAIN VALLEY — An 84-year-old Fountain Valley woman died after she was hit by a car while walking across Magnolia Street, police said Tuesday.
Kou Sou Chow was crossing the northbound lanes of Magnolia south of Warner Avenue when a car hit her about 5:20 p.m. Monday, police said. Chow was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where she died at 7:35 p.m., authorities said.
The driver of the car, a Lake Forest woman, was not arrested. The investigation is continuing.
