Officers to Offer Tips on Fire Safety at Fair
- Share via
The Fire Prevention Officers of Orange County will be offering safety tips to visitors to the Orange County Fair today through July 27.
Staffed in a booth humorously called Fire Island--to match the fair’s tropical theme--officers will work with children to increase their understanding of fire safety and provide adults with printed materials. Information on swimming pool safety, beach safety and burn prevention also will be provided.
The fairgrounds are at 77 Fair Drive in Costa Mesa; the fire prevention booth is in the Orange County building. The fairgrounds are open from noon to midnight Monday through Wednesday, and 10 a.m. to midnight Thursday through Sunday.
