HOUSTON — Andrei Vasilyev had a hat trick and an assist as the Long Beach Ice Dogs defeated the Houston Aeros, 5-3, Thursday in International Hockey League play. Vasilyev leads the league in scoring with 22 points.
King goalie Jamie Storr, in his first rehabilitation start after being sidelined Sept. 23 because of a groin strain, stopped 28 of 31 shots for the Ice Dogs, who improved to 11-5-1.
