Southwest Rally Beats Half-Hearted Valley

In a game of halves, Valley College lost the second and decisive one and fell to Southwest, 26-14, in a Western State Conference Southern Division game Saturday at Southwest.
Valley (5-3, 1-2 in conference play) built a 14-0 first-half lead on a two-yard touchdown run by Jamian Barbour and a 96-yard pass play from Tom Racius to Randall Lane.
Southwest (6-2, 3-0) scored two touchdowns in the first three minutes of the third quarter and went ahead on a 39-yard touchdown pass from Hassayn Bailey to Nathaniel Harrison.
