“A couple of weeks ago, I opened a couple of old bottles from my cellar. One was a 1966 Cha^teau Lafite-Rothschild; it was pretty good but not great. But I also had a 1966 Cha^teau Lynch-Bages, and that was superb. The Lafite was a little disappointing; it didn’t have quite the richness or the intensity I expected. The Lynch-Bages was much richer and more intense and had less of that brown, amber color the Lafite had.”
