Edwards Sets Mark With 46

Player-coach Teresa Edwards broke her own ABL record with 46 points Friday night as the Atlanta Glory rallied from a 17-point deficit to defeat the Seattle Reign, 89-84, at Seattle.
Edwards was 16 of 27 from the field, including five of 10 from three-point range, grabbed seven rebounds and added seven assists.
She scored 42 points against the Reign last season, also in Seattle.
New England 91, Philadelphia 87--Carolyn Jones scored 30 points to lead the visiting Blizzard past the Rage in overtime before 2,744.
Dawn Staley missed a jumper that would have tied the game with 11.4 seconds left in overtime.
Adrienne Goodson led Philadelphia with 25 points and 12 rebounds.
Colorado 61, Portland 58--Tari Phillips scored 25 points and the Xplosion rallied in the fourth quarter to defeat the Power before 4,538 at Portland.
Natalie Williams led Portland with 22 points.
