Research Park Plans

* Re “A Smarter Plan for CSUN Site,” Nov. 9.
As a media communications major at Cal State Northridge, I am genuinely pleased to hear of its plan for the new research park. The new facility will be an extremely valuable asset to our school community. It will create new opportunities for students such as myself to rise to our full potential.
As with any proposal presented, there are downfalls. The new research park may increase traffic and noise level during the day. However, it is only a small price to pay for such an enormous resource that will indeed have long-term beneficial effects.
