CAMARILLO — A power outage left about 2,600 Southern California Edison customers without electricity Thursday evening.
An underground transformer is to blame for the blackout, which began at 8:15 p.m., said Edison spokesman Rudy Gonzales.
The outage affected the area south of Hayden Street to Caryl Drive, near Point Mugu State Park, and from Wood Road to Arneill Road.
Crews were expected to have electricity for all but 250 customers by 9:15 p.m. Full power was expected to be restored by 1 a.m.
