Wolter Throws for Three Scores in Estancia Win

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Justin Wolter threw three touchdown passes as Estancia, despite losing five fumbles, shut out Ocean View, 27-0, in a nonleague game Friday night at Huntington Beach High.

Wolter threw a nine-yard touchdown pass to Manu Tanielu with five minutes and 32 seconds left in the first quarter to give Estancia (2-1-1) a 7-0 lead. Wolter connected with Tanielu again with 2:53 left in the half on a scoring pass of seven yards.

Two minutes later, Wolter teamed up with Dawkins, who took a pass 65 yards for the score and a 21-0 lead. Tanielu capped Estancia’s scoring on a three-yard run with 7:09 left in the game.

Dawkins led Estancia’s rushing game with 119 yards in 24 carries. Wolter finished the night completing seven of 10 passes for 160 yards. Tanielu caught five passes for 81 yards.

Ocean View drops to 0-4.
