Re “Effort to Rid Lake of Pike Leaves a Poisonous Legacy,” April 8: Who poisoned Lake Davis near Portola? State wildlife officials. These are the caretakers of our natural heritage?
And so we add one more chapter to “Silent Spring.” Wake up and smell the chemicals. Rachel Carson needs to rest in peace.
