SEASON AT A GLANCE: Rosson has become one of the region’s top pitchers and has propelled Calabasas High (9-4, 6-0 in league play) into the Frontier League lead. Rosson, a right-hander, has struck out 116 and walked 14 in 72 1/3 innings. She has allowed 20 hits and six runs, three of them earned, and has a 0.29 earned-run average. She is batting .300.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: Rosson (6-3) blew away the competition in a pair of Frontier League games. In a 16-inning victory over Moorpark, she struck out 26, walked three and allowed three hits. The game was the longest in league history and Rosson’s strikeout total is a single-game league record. In a seven-inning victory over Malibu, Rosson pitched a no-hitter, striking out 12 and walking two.
