Aircraft Model Club to Hold Air Show

An air show featuring radio-control model aircraft will be held May 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Conejo Valley Flyers’ field located behind the old Northrop building off Rancho Conejo Boulevard.
The event, sponsored by the club, will include model helicopter demonstrations and vintage and World War II models for viewing. Some of the aircraft on display will have wingspans in excess of 10 feet and are capable of speeds in excess of 100 mph.
The 23-year-old model aircraft club has more than 100 members ranging in ages from 8 to 80.
