The city recently recognized three people for providing outstanding service to the community.
City Manager James Armstrong named Leslie Johnson as general government employee of the year for her work as the director of the Tiny Tots preschool program.
Fire engineer Charles Coleman was named the safety employee of the year for his dedication to the Fullerton Fire Department and involvement with various community services, such as the United Way charity campaign, the Salvation Army and the Orange County Burn Assn. Jinny Barton, code enforcement supervisor, was named manager of the year.
The three were nominated by their co-workers and supervisors, and received a plaque from the city.
