Fair Competition Forms to Be Available

Entry forms and handbooks for the Orange County Fair’s 1998 competitions will be available beginning next week.
More than $200,000 in prize money will be awarded to Orange County residents in areas of art, unusual collections, flowers and more. Some categories are open to those who live outside the county.
Most entry forms will be due May 27, officials said.
This year’s competition categories include: fish and reptile; flower and garden; landscapes; livestock; gems and minerals; home and hobbies; visual arts; wine; youth; collections and memorabilia; homemade beer; and journalism.
Previous participants will be mailed entry forms, which are also available by calling (714) 708-1443.
