DDL Electronics Agrees to Buy Florida Business

DDL Electronics Inc. has signed an agreement to buy a Florida electronic services concern for 9 million shares of DDL stock.
With DDL’s common shares trading recently at around 68 cents a share, the deal will be worth about $6 million.
The Florida business is Jolt Technology Inc. in Fort Lauderdale. It specializes in providing electronic assemblies for original equipment manufacturers.
DDL, which is based in Newbury Park, provides manufacturing services to original equipment makers in the communications, computer, medical and aerospace industries.
