UCLA Rolls Past Washington, 80-59

UCLA closed the first half with a 23-4 run and then coasted to an 80-59 victory over No. 18 Washington in a Pacific 10 women’s game at Seattle.
UCLA, 11-6 overall and 6-2 in the Pacific 10, took a 42-20 lead at halftime and led by as many as 29 points but never fewer than 17 in the second half. Janae Hubbard’s 12 points led UCLA, which shot 56.9%.
Malinda Lynch and Amber Hall each had 13 points for Washington (12-5, 3-5). Jamie Redd, the second-leading scorer in the conference, fouled out with four points.

USC overcame 27.8% shooting to defeat Washington State, 57-48, in a Pacific 10 game at Pullman, Wash. Kristin Clark had a game-high 18 points for USC (8-9, 3-5) while teammate Adrain Williams had 13 points and 12 rebounds. Yvonne Kunze had 16 points and 15 rebounds for Washington State (9-8, 3-5).
