Playwright to Read at Black Theater Talk

Playwright August Wilson will appear at the Getty Museum Thursday from 7-9 p.m., in the Harold M. Williams Auditorium, discussing “History, Critique and Recovery of Black Theater in American Arts and Culture.”
He’ll read excerpts from his plays and then be joined by two Dartmouth College professors, William Cook and Victor Leo Walker, with whom he convened the recent National Black Theater Summit.
The event is free, but parking reservations are required.
