More than 4,200 students from Cal State Dominguez Hills in Carson are eligible to participate in this weekend’s commencement ceremony in the Olympic Velodrome. It is the largest graduating class in the university’s history.
As a result, four ceremonies were scheduled to accommodate the large number of students and their families. The School of Management held its ceremony Friday night and three ceremonies will be held today.
Enrollment of full-time students at the campus reached an all-time high last fall when 7,948 students registered. Officials predict that the numbers will continue to rise over the next five years.
