Ojai Valley Bank Earns High Rating for 12th Year

Ojai Valley Bank has been named a Premier Performing Bank for the 12th year by Findley Reports, which rates financial institutions.
The award for 1997 performance is based on several criteria, including growth of assets, deposits and gross income; return on equity; low loan losses; and operating income as a percentage of total assets.
The bank also announced its 1997 financial figures. Income per share was $2.32, with shareholders receiving dividends of $1.25 per share. Assets grew nearly 10% to $62.17 million.
