An unidentified man was killed early Monday in the city of Industry when he was struck by a train, authorities said.
The victim, believed to be in his early 20s, was found at 7:10 a.m. on a Union Pacific track on Old Valley Boulevard near Stimson Avenue, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Carrie Stuart said.
No identification was found on the victim, Stuart said, and the man was so badly injured he could not be identified immediately.
She said the death appeared to be accidental.
