Spotlight: Santa Monica Man Seeks Help to Revive Outlook

Santa Monica resident David Ganezer hopes to revive the defunct daily Outlook--and he’s asking his fellow residents to join his quest. The lawyer plans to issue a challenge today, asking for pledges for subscriptions of at least a year to a new Outlook that he hopes to unveil this summer. He has already re-registered the Outlook’s trademark, which was abandoned by La Jolla-based Copley Press Inc. after it unexpectedly closed the newspaper March 13. After that, he hopes to secure financing.
