I’m touched that Frank Ury (letter, May 27) is so concerned about my paycheck. He knows that I can already have my union redirect the portion of my dues that is spent politically, so why is he still worried about me? Could it be that since labor unions don’t traditionally support Republican causes he wants to weaken opposition to big business and school vouchers?
Prop. 226 isn’t about fairness. It’s about power. Is that so difficult to see?
