Police released a sketch Thursday of a man who tried to sexually assault a 15-year-old girl walking home from school earlier this week.
The Katella High School student was walking home about 9:20 a.m. Tuesday after feeling ill at school. She was walking east on Wagner Avenue at the Orange Freeway overpass when the man grabbed her and pulled her down an embankment into some brush.
The victim, who received minor injuries and did not require medical treatment, fought her attacker and was able to escape.
She ran into a nearby neighborhood where she went to a home and asked the resident to call police.
If anyone has information, they are asked to call (714) 765-1573.
