Earnings Almost Triple for Lancaster RV Maker

A 15% increase in third-quarter sales compared with the same period in 1997 helped Rexhall Industries, the Lancaster-based maker of recreational vehicles, nearly triple its earnings-per-share figures, the company said.
Rexhall reported earnings of 32 cents per diluted share for the 1998 third quarter, which ended Sept. 30, against earnings of 11 cents per diluted share in the year-ago period.
The company posted net income of $965,000 for the 1998 third quarter, compared with earnings of $329,000 for the 1997 period.
