The City Council approved final plans to light baseball fields at Crown Valley Elementary School. Residents have protested the field lighting, citing concerns about increased noise and traffic and a deterioration of their views. The city has agreed to install landscaping to reduce glare from the fields. Construction will cost $172,615 and should be completed in time for the spring Little League season.
