Lancaster 45, Sultana 14--The Eagles (2-0) used a swarming defense and four fumble recoveries in routing the Sultans (0-2) in the first night game at Lancaster High.
Lancaster, which converted all four turnovers and a botched punt into points, held Sultana to minus-two yards rushing and recorded four sacks.
Running back Percy Abrams ran for two touchdowns and Daniel Pagnella led all rushers with 82 yards in seven carries as the Eagles amassed 224 yards on the ground with 10 different ballcarriers.
Robert LaPlante kicked a 43-yard field goal and four extra points.
Receiver Justin Dale caught seven passes for 172 yards and two touchdowns for Sultana, and quarterback Nick Higgs completed 12 of 25 for 166 yards and one touchdown.
Lancaster quarterback Jason Jacobs completed five of six for 98 yards and one touchdown.
