The City Council on Tuesday will consider spending $5,250 to participate in the West Orange County Cities Feasibility and Alignment Study, which aims to identify the western part of the county’s rail needs. The preliminary budget for the study is $105,000. Based on its population, the city will pay about 5% of the budget. Nearby Los Alamitos, with a smaller population, will pay $2,100. The council meets at 6:30 p.m. at 7800 Katella Ave.
