The Beach Committee will meet tonight to discuss the retaining wall recently erected on the bluff along Paseo de Cristobal. The structure was built after the city Engineering Department issued an emergency permit for reinforcement of the bluff.
The Coastal Commission is expected to discuss a permanent permit for the structure next month. The committee meets at 6 p.m. at the Public Works Building, 910 Calle Negocio. Information: (949) 361-8200.
