Highland Bancorp Announces Promotions for 3 Executives

* Highland Bancorp Inc., the Burbank-based holding company of Highland Federal Bank, has promoted three key executives. Garry Warren, chief lending officer, has been named president; Ellen Geiger, information systems and human relations manager, has been named executive vice president and chief operating officer; and controller Stephen Cooper was given the additional title of senior vice president.
* Dunn-Edwards Corp., the Los Angeles-based maker and retailer of paint and related products, unveiled several management changes. Arthur Chaparro and Gary Hoxie have been promoted to regional sales managers; Richard Carson was promoted to a new position, director of commercial and executive accounts; and Judith MacFarlane was tapped as new residential accounts manager. In addition, Dunn-Edwards also broadened the responsibilities of Nicholas Hess, director of store operations for Northern California, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico, to include Southern California as well.
* Homestore.com, a Thousand Oaks-based home and real estate Internet site, appointed Dean Denhart chief information officer. He comes to Homestore.com from his position as vice president of the software systems group at AirTouchCellular, the U.S. operation of Vodafone AirTouch.
